Draw schedule and verification

Every draw is live-streamed on its closing date, whether or not it sold out. You don't have to trust us: you can check every result yourself.

How our draws are verified

We don't pick winners. RANDOM.ORG does. It's an independent company that has run a true random number service since 1998, generating randomness from atmospheric noise, and its results are digitally signed so they can't be faked or edited.

  1. When sales open we take a RANDOM.ORG ticket for the draw and publish its ID on the competition page. A ticket can only ever be used once, so we can't run the draw again and keep the result we like.
  2. When sales close we publish the full entry list: every ticket number, paid and free.
  3. At the live draw RANDOM.ORG picks one number from 1 to the number of entries, using that ticket. The entry list's fingerprint is sealed into the result, so the number can only belong to this draw and this list. Number N means the Nth entry in ticket order.
  4. After the draw we publish RANDOM.ORG's signed result below. Press “Check it yourself on RANDOM.ORG” and RANDOM.ORG's own website confirms the signature is genuine. Change a single digit and the check fails.
